For the best and smoothest results, your hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (roughly 1/4 inch long). If you are transitioning from shaving, this usually means letting the hair grow out for about 3 to 4 weeks. If the hair is too short, the wax won't be able to grip it from the root; if it's too long, don't worry—we can easily trim it to the perfect length during your appointment.

You should avoid hot tubs, intense workouts, sexual activity and heavy sweating for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation and begin gentle exfoliation 3 days post-wax.
If you are using prescription topicals (like Tretinoin or Retin-A), please pause them 5–7 days prior to waxing or chemical treatments to protect your skin barrier. Clients currently taking oral Accutane cannot receive waxing or advanced resurfacing services and should opt for our customized, barrier-repairing facials instead.
